The researchers have been working hard and the NUCCA leg check study has been accepted to be published in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics. This will give more credibility to the method by which NUCCA practitioners determine a misalignment. We know it works and we’ve proven that it works! Now the world will be able to see it.
The NUCCA leg checks are performed very carefully to avoid errors in positioning. There was a pilot study, followed by a larger scale study. The studies show consistency between examiners. This will also affect the ability of other chiropractic techniques to justify the leg checks that they perform to determine misalignment.
This is a wonderful foundational step. This gives credence to the ability to determine misalignment, and to show that it has improved with the adjustment. After this is published, we’ll be able to show how improvements in a person’s body follow the improvements in leg length inequality.
NUCCA truly is helping pave the way forward for chiropractic.
