What is Chronic Fatigue Syndrome?
Also known as CFS, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, is a name from a group of medical condition, each of which causes extreme fatigue. This condition may worsen due to physical or mental activity, but rest will offer very little (if any) relief from it.
Though, the medical community still does not know what the cause of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is. Some theorize that it is due to a viral infection, while others associate it with psychological stress.
Often, it is associated with Fibromyalgia, and the two conditions sometimes manifest such similar symptoms that one doctor may diagnose a condition as CFS that another has diagnosed as Fibromyalgia.
Though, there are signs you should be aware of in order that may be signs that you suffer from CFS. Adults need to show at least four of these signs for at last six months and children and adolescents for three months, in order for their extreme fatigue to be diagnosed as CFS

Chronic fatigue syndrome has been demonstrated to be associated with changes in cortisol levels. Cortisol is a key hormone to the function and health of your body. Upper neck misalignments as a result of head and neck injuries are frequently associated with a decrease in cortisol and a dedicated upper cervical corrective procedure designed to restore proper alignment to the upper neck has been positively shown to impact those suffering with chronic fatigue.
